Whitney Houston’s Body Has Returned Home
A private Gulfstream III jet, reportedly owned by Tyler Perry, carried the pop icon’s body from California’s Van Nuys airport to New Jersey’s Teterboro Airport where a hearse and several cars awaited. The multiplatinum-selling artist’s body was then taken to the Whigham Funeral Home in Houston’s hometown of Newark to be prepared for interment.
A public memorial service will take place Friday at the 18,000 seat Prudential Center arena on a first-come first-serve basis, with reserved seating for VIP’s. The family has not confirmed if the service will be televised.
