Along with the lifesize Shroud image, we will be showing several other artifacts from this important time in our history.
The Shroud of Turin is claimed to be the burial cloth of Jesus of Nazareth. The Shroud image is 4 feet tall by 16 feet long. It is the most researched and controversial religious artifact in history. It carrys with it a long history of debate as well posessional battles. It has been stolen then retreived, wars fought over it, caught on fire, repaired, prayed over and driven researchers on the verge of hysteria trying to replicate it.
