Seahawks Swoop In Arizona And Take A Win
Week 7 kicked of last night with the Thursday Night Football game. The Seattle Seahawks traveled to Arizona to take on the Cardinals. Seattle’s QB, Russell Wilson, completed 18 of 29 passes for 235 yards and 3 touchdowns leading the Seahawks to a win over the Cardinals 34-22.
As for the rest of the NFL and week 7, we have a lot to look forward to. Peyton Manning will visit Colts’ territory for the first time wearing the Broncos uniform. Undefeated Denver will face off with the Colts (4-2) for Sunday Night Football. The Kansas City Chiefs, also undefeated, will host the Houston Texans (2-4). The Texans will have to start back-up quarterback Case Keenum in place of Matt Shaub, who is out dealing ankle and foot injuries. The Texans are hoping Keenum can get the team back on track.
The Giants may have a good shot at breaking their losing streak when they host the Minnesota Vikings (1-4). Eli Manning should have a good day against the Vikings depleted secondary. The Buccaneers, also winless, may change their status on Sunday when they travel to Atlanta to take on the Falcons (1-4).
The Saints (5-1) and Raiders (2-4) both have a bye week. New Orleans bye week comes just when they need it. After the painful loss to the Patriots last week, the Saints can have some extra time to prepare for their next match-up against the Bills in week 8. The Raiders also need to take advantage of their bye week to regroup after their loss to the Chiefs. By: Sabrina Sales
