Week 11 Around the NFL
Week 11 of the NFL season kicked off on Thursday night with the match-up between the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans. The Titans led the Colts 17-6 at halftime, but the Indianapolis flipped the script in the 3rd quarter. Andrew Luck, Colts QB, was able to pull together the comeback the team needed to win the game 30-27.
Luck completed 23 of 36 passes for 232 yards. Titans QB, Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 22 of 28 passes for 222 yards. Colt’s TE, Coby Fleener had a career high 8 catches for 107 yards to help his team gain another win. This was the Titan’s 5th loss in their last 6 games.
Coming up on Sunday, everyone is talking about the Denver Broncos (8-1) and Kansas City Chiefs (9-0). This will likely be one of the best battles of the season. Denver will have home field advantage, not to mention they have the top ranked offense in the league. Kansas City had a bye week last week, so they should be ready to go by kick-off. We’ll see if the debate “Chiefs haven’t played any good teams this season” will be given any merit on Sunday when they travel to Denver. Will they get their first loss of the season or will they remain undefeated? By Sabrina Sales
